Marking
Each model has alphanumeric marking. For example, Gazlux Economy B-18-C1 - a device of the "Economy" series. The furnace is open. The number indicates the thermal power on which the heating area depends. When choosing a suitable heating capacity, a ratio of 1000 W for every 10 square meters is used. Therefore, having seen the number 18 in the marking, it can be understood that the boiler is enough to heat 180 m², no more.
In the Standard B-24-T1 model, the marking indicates the presence of a fan responsible for exhaust gas removal. If the marking contains the letter F, then the device is equipped with a unit that will prevent freezing of the coolant.
Model Overview
The brand "Gaslux" offers only wall-mounted boilers, does not produce floor versions. All models are easy to operate, durable, they do not have complex parts, due to which the cost of repair work increases. All models are dual-circuit. They function during the most severe frosts, tolerate pressure drops in water and gas pipelines.
Gazlux brand represents three classes of heaters:
- Economy. This is the most requested version. Convenient and simple operation, clear mechanical control - there are rotary controls. Parallel heating of the heat carrier and water in hot water supply. The capacity of the water circuit is 11 liters per minute. The developers provided for the parallel inclusion of two points of water intake. Designed for heating 150-180 m². The furnace is open or closed.
- Standart. It is distinguished from the Economy version by an improved control panel. Instead of mechanical handles - a keypad. Additional equipment provides a daily programmer. "Standard" has a high flow rate - 13.8 l / min. The heating area is up to 240 m².
- Premium The key point is convenient operation and automatic control. Provides protection from emergencies and self-diagnosis, as well as setting the temperature for a week in advance. Modifications are equipped with a special magnetic device, due to which scale does not form. The latter is the main reason that reduces the life of gas equipment.

Installation and piping
Both processes are fairly quick if the following rules are followed:
- Installation is carried out by a specialized team. Adjustment of the minimum pressure in the gas pipeline is carried out by employees of the service center. They will explain how to set the temperature. The instructions included with each model may also help. If necessary, adjust the gas valve.
- The correct organization of smoke removal. Often boilers do not work due to lack of traction. A sensor is installed in the smoke extraction system, which operates at low pressure. When the thrust is reduced to critical parameters, the flow of fuel stops, and a notification about the problem appears on the screen.
- The coaxial chimney should be installed in accordance with SNiP, based on the manufacturer's recommendations. When developing the device, it was envisaged to ensure normal traction and forcing oxygen through a coaxial chimney.
- Despite the minimum number of nodes depending on the power supply, the control unit is unstable in the event of power surges. To prevent its failure, the manufacturer recommends installing a UPS.

Gazlux models are reliable, but in safety matters they are inferior to European competitors. To prevent dangerous situations, it is recommended:
- Pay attention to the warnings displayed on the screen. The proposals of the "craftsmen" offering to block the protective automation should be answered categorically. Disabling security systems can lead to emergency situations.
- Equip the equipment with elements that control the heating of rooms. Thanks to the temperature sensor, energy resources are saved, the coolant overheating is prevented.
- In the smoke removal system, taking into account the technical parameters of the boilers, special hatches and modules for condensate elimination are provided.
Malfunctions
The electronic board has to control the start-up and shutdown of the device, it also manages the processes related to its functioning. The next task of the board is to prevent emergencies. Possible malfunctions:
- Poorly removed exhaust gases.
- The burner goes out.
- Not enough pressure in the water circuit.
- Critical overheating of the coolant occurs.
The above problems are unacceptably dangerous. When such situations occur, the operation of the heaters is quickly blocked. Failures can occur due to reasons beyond the control of the boiler - for example, due to interruptions in the gas pipeline or due to freezing of the chimney. Faults are displayed in different ways (it depends on the modification):
- a combination of lighted indicators;
- digital code on the screen.
Failure Warning
In these models, a malfunction is indicated by indicator lights. When the unit is operating in normal mode, LED lights indicate the power level at a given time. Errors:
E1 - the indicator located below flashes red at a frequency of once per second. Upstairs, the 1st LED lights up. The cause of the malfunction is the sensor. In atmospheric versions - flue gas temperatures, in turbocharged ones - differential pressure. Difficult or impossible removal of exhaust gases can also provoke a malfunction.
You must make sure:
- in the free passage of gases through the inlet and outlet pipelines;
- in the smooth operation of the fans;
- in good condition and non-clogged tubes connected to the differential pressure sensor.
E2. At the bottom of the red luminescent light, above - the 2nd LED. A signal about a breakdown of the temperature sensor in the heating system. To test NTC sensors, you need to measure the resistance. In conditions of the average temperature in the housing, its approximate value is 10 kOhm. The higher the heating, the lower the resistance. Having found significant deviations, we can conclude: the sensor is broken and should be changed.
E3. The red light below turned on. At the top is the 3rd LED power indicator. A problem similar to the previous one, but for a dhw temperature sensor.
E4. Below is a red light. At the top is the 4th indicator. The reason is that the coolant has heated more than 92 degrees Celsius. Most often, overheating is caused by insufficient circulation of the coolant, which provokes:
- pump breakdown;
- poor passability through the heat exchanger;
- air traffic jams.
E6. At the bottom - a red LED, at the top - the 1st and 5th power indicators. The flame on the burner is not detected on the control unit. To prevent an accident, the automation controls the flame. This is done using a special ionization electrode. If there is a flame, a small electric current is recorded by the board through the electrode, if it does not, then the boiler turned off erroneously. The reason of that:
- there is no normal gas supply - due to dropped pressure, burner pollution, etc .;
- problems with ignition;
- breakdown of the ionization electrode - dirty, closed on the housing.
E7. At the bottom there is a red light; at the top, the 2nd and 5th LEDs blink. The electronic board registers combustion after the gas valve closes. Therefore, either the latter is faulty, or problems with the electronic board.

Compact, hanging on the wall, taking up minimal space. I worked for two and a half years without problems, and then the problems started. The lights are constantly flashing, a beep sounds, it indicates that a malfunction in the smoke exhaust system.

It features good performance in hot water. Just manage. There is frost protection. The disadvantage is the poor build quality. Dangling wires, falling off rubber seal, made in China, in a word. Error E2 appears regularly - lack of air. There is no storage tank, about 7-8 seconds after the tap is opened, cold water flows. Two years later, error E3 began to appear - overheating. Replaced all the sensors, but the problem was not solved. Then the copper heat exchanger burned out, had to be replaced, and it costs 10 thousand. The device itself costs 23 thousand.
